About Madean Gilzene
When Madean Gilzene's 6-month old son was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, she didn't know how to find the support she needed to help her son thrive, or even where to look. Inspired by her son, as a young single mom, Madean pursued a career in social work and healthcare in order to help parents find the resources they need to help their children thrive. Resources that were not available to her and her son when he was young.
The THE EXTRAORDINARY KIDS FOUNDATION, INC, is a 501c3 Non-profit Organization dedicated to providing care and services to special needs and medically complex children. Founded in 2016, the organization has served more than 200 children.
